Are wooden pallet sold to individuals?

Until a few years ago, we sold our new or recycled (second-hand) wooden pallet directly to private customers. Based on this experience, it became clear to us that, in terms of both quality and cost, this service did not meet our customers' expectations.

In terms of quality, wood is a living material. Blue staining and black or green marks make it incompatible with decorating requirements and may naturally lead to dissatisfaction.

In terms of cost, it is important to understand that a wooden pallet has a considerable volume (a Euro pallet measures 80 cm x 120 cm x 14.4 cm) and weight (a Euro pallet weighs +/- 25 kg). Although the unit price of a pallet is relatively low, transport costs are very high when delivering only a few units. Ordering 10 pallet, for example, already amounts to +/- 250 kg... As private customers do not have suitable handling equipment, our carriers are unable to provide the required delivery conditions.

Furthermore, we cannot deliver less than one stack, which represents between 20 and 100 pallet, depending on the model.
