How to select your Builder's bag ?
On all our categories - Universe pages, you will find a set of criteria. These allow you to filter and search easily either by finding the model you are already using or by selecting those that will correspond to your future use. These criteria are multiple and will allow you to reduce or expand your choice by positioning several values of the same criterion.
Our search filter is interactive, each time you select a criterion, it selects and presents you directly the Bulk bag and Jumbo Bag. To select your own, we advise you to know above all the weight or volume. A bulk bag can easily contain several hundreds or thousands of kilos, we advise you before packing to check that your means of handling and lifting are adapted.
Visually, all the drawings of our builder's bags include:

Width and depth
We offer you the widest range of Builders bags. They are all classified by Width x Depth (ex: 62.5 X 62.5) to minimize your search time and facilitate your selection.
Height
As specialists, we have chosen to separate height in dimensional criteria. Indeed, according to our experience, you are many for whom the height is more important than the dimension in base (width and depth). With this selection, we give you the opportunity to search by height as the most important criterion for you. You thus have a sorting and a direct selection according to the height chosen and all the dimensions in base with their resistances and their capacities.
What is the Volume ?
It is useful to check the theoretical capacity of your sack. Normal manufacturing tolerances can increase or decrease the filling volume by a few percent. If you load your bag with a homogeneous material such as powder or animal feed, the volume (associated with resistance) is the measure for your use. However, for packaging products of various shapes and sizes (e.g. bulk bag potatoes) there will naturally be a vacuum which limits the filling capacity.
For some of our customers, we produced with the maximum filling line printed (usually in red) to visually inform operators of the safety limit. This case is very frequent for Jumbo bag sludge settling.
Definition of the safety resistance
The SWL (maximum safety load) is equal to the safety resistance. It mentions the weight limit above which the item is no longer guaranteed and secured. Beyond that, the product is no longer adapted to your needs. There is a safety coefficient for the calculation of maximum resistances but we strongly advise against filling your Bulk Bag above the limit mentioned on each page of our products and on the safety labels present and sewn inside each Builder's Bags.
What is the Grammage ?
It is the thickness of the canvas that is expressed in "grammage". It is measured in grams per square metre (gr/m²). A heavy weight indicates a thicker fabric. The thickness improves resistance and strength to the filling weight. It also allows the bag to be approved as a reusable category (class SF 6/1), depending on the case. On the other hand, the more traditional thicknesses are SF 5/1 standard, for single use.
With a higher thickness, the resistance to shocks, cutting, shearing, and heavy products will be higher.
The different lifting points and type of straps
There are mainly 4 types of lifting;
- 1 point (1 strap attached on 2 sides)
- 2 points (2 opposite straps on two sides)
- 4 points (4 straps, 1 per side of bulk bag)
- 2 tunnels ( on each side of the Bulk Bag, allowing the insertion of the forklift truck forks).

Personalization of your builders bags
We customize on request your bulk bag (with a minimum quantity) by adding on 1, 2 or 4 printed sides, your logo or your identity.
Similarly, we can also customize the content on the security label, sewn inside each bag, with your company name, contact information and website address. You need specific information or safety pictograms, we add them and send you the printing doc for validation.
The customization does not stop there, we are able to totally adapt your Bulk Bag in using color threads for all seams and also transform straps into a specific color or reduce or lengthen the size. With a palette of over 20 standard colours available, we can also customise up to the printing of your own RAL colour code.

Conditions of use
Storage conditions
Empty Bags can be stored outdoors even for an extended period of time provided it is protected and the weather (rain, hail, sun) cannot be in direct contact.
However, we advise and prefer storage indoors and away from the sun's rays to avoid alterations due to excessive exposure to ultraviolet rays.

Handling conditions
The handling and filling conditions depend entirely on the model.
For example, if your bulk bag is equipped with 4 standard or crossed straps (cross-corner) you can handle them by inserting the carriage forks into its 4 lifting points.
Once loaded, you can also place it on a handling pallet of appropriate dimensions for storage and shipping.
For example, when used frequently, the builder's bag container, filled and placed on a pallet, can be racked directly.
Or the 3 or 5-soled stacking system allows you to stack safely.
We can also advise you and study for you the pallets best suited to your needs according to your logistics and storage constraints.
General and Precautions for use
When handling by hand, we strongly advise you to wear suitable safety gloves. Keep out of reach of children. These bags can be used for packaging and product and waste packaging.
